Lily Barclay, LPC, MA

Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC)KS

I work with teens and adults experiencing trauma, anxiety, low self-esteem, self-harm, and emotional overwhelm. I also support individuals navigating ADHD, mood disorders, relationship stress, identity issues, addiction, career challenges, and life transitions. My approach includes CBT, DBT, attachment-based work, and trauma-informed care. Therapy with me is compassionate and collaborative. I meet you where you are and we move forward at a pace that feels safe. When you are ready, I’m here.

Hi, I’m glad you’re here. Looking for help takes courage, especially when life feels heavy or confusing. If something inside you is hoping for change or relief, I want you to know that you are in the right place.

Many people come to therapy because they feel stuck in patterns that once helped them cope but now feel overwhelming or painful. Maybe you’ve shut down emotionally just to get through the day. Maybe you’ve turned to substances, self-harm or distraction when things felt too big. Maybe you’ve tried to stay strong for everyone else while quietly falling apart inside. If any of that sounds familiar, you are not alone and there is nothing wrong with you. Those responses made sense at the time. They were survival. And now you deserve tools that help you feel safe, connected, and in control of your life.

Part of what shapes my work is my own journey. Moving from South Korea and learning how to belong in a new culture taught me what it feels like to question identity, feel unseen, or feel outside of the world around you. Those experiences helped me understand how deeply humans need connection, understanding, and a place where they can simply be themselves.

My goal is to help you feel grounded, confident, and more at peace with who you are. In our work together, my hope is that you feel seen, heard, and supported as you explore what healing looks like for you. I believe therapy should feel like a safe place to grow, not another place you have to perform or explain yourself.

You deserve a life that feels authentic and meaningful. You deserve support. And you don’t have to start perfectly. You only have to start.

If you feel ready, curious, or even just open to exploring the possibility of support, I would love to connect.

Experience

My work is rooted in CBT, DBT, neuroscience-based interventions, and IFS parts work. I focus on helping clients understand their emotions, behaviors, and nervous system responses with curiosity rather than judgment. My approach supports emotional regulation, processing trauma, developing effective coping skills, and building healthier relational patterns.

I am trained in EMDR and the Gottman Method for relationship work. My goal is to create a space where clients feel grounded, supported, and able to explore meaningful change at their own pace.

Private Practice Hours

Mondays and Tuesdays: 9am-6pm
